Inter have a deal in place with Parma which will allow them to sign Matteo Darmian in the coming months according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Darmian joined the Ducali for just €1.5 million from Manchester United a few days ago but has drawn heavy links to Inter in the past year or so.

Inter will only go in for the Italian if they really need to and a lot will depend on how quickly and well Summer signing Valentino Lazaro settles in to his new surroundings.

Injury has prevented the Austrian from featuring as of yet but he has impressed the Inter coaching staff with his technical ability.

Lazaro’s injury has opened up an opportunity for Antonio Candreva but the Rome based news outlet believe that the former Lazio man cannot be relied upon for the entire season.

Darmian would be particularly useful to Conte due to the fact he has previously played under him and he is very versatile too and can play anywhere in the defence.

The report goes on to state that Alessandro Bastoni could be loaned out again. Inter will take stock of his situation in December and Corriere dello Sport suggest a loan return to Parma could serve him well.
