Inter have been put on high alert by Christian Eriksen’s recent comments with regards to his future at Tottenham Hotspur according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Danish play-maker has admitted he would have liked to have left Premier League Spurs during the recently closed transfer window and with just nine months left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it appears, at this stage anyway, inevitable that Eriksen will depart.

Unsurprisingly, Inter are not the only club keen on adding the former Ajax player to their ranks with them facing competition from arch-rivals Juventus.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are also believed to be interested and will go in for Eriksen if unsuccessful in their pursuit of Paul Pogba, whose current club Manchester United are also eyeing a move for Eriksen.

The 27-year-old has made four appearances across all competitions this season in which he has contributed a single goal.
