Samir Handanovic and Danilo D’Ambrosio will both sign contract extensions with Inter this month according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter captain Handanovic is currently under contract with the Nerazzurri through to the end of the 2020/21 season and Inter wish to extend his contract by a further year. They will meet with his representatives shortly.

The 35-year-old is one of the longest serving players on the club’s books and has been an ever-reliable performer in all his years with the club.

D’Ambrosio is also contracted until the end of the 2020/21 season and Inter have agreed to extend his contract by a further year too.

The Italian international defender was promised a contract extension near the end of last season but due to the Summer transfer window getting in the way, the club are only now getting round to dealing with it.

In the coming days D’Ambrosio’s contract extension with the club should be officially announced.
