The first Derby della Madonnina of the season is heading toward a sell-out according to a report from news agency ANSA.
No less than 60,000 tickets have already been snapped up by fans ahead of the match on September 21, in which Milan will be playing the role of hosts.
If the sell-out is confirmed, which it more than likely will be, it will be the 224th time at a Milan derby has sold out in the rich history of the fixture.
Marco Giampaolo’s Rossoneri side will no doubt be out to avenge themselves having lost both of the Milan derbies last season to their Nerazzurri rivals who won 1-0 and 3-2 respectively.
A lot of changes have occurred for both teams over the Summer with both opting to change their managers and making several transfers both on the incoming and outgoing fronts.
Inter have started the season in perfect fashion with two wins from two whilst Milan have three points to their name having one once and lost the other.
