Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is already looking ahead to next Summer’s transfer window and has identified two top midfielders that Inter could sign according to a report from Tuttosport.
Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the first player that the Inter chief executive is keeping a close eye on. Marotta is monitoring everything when it comes to the Serbian midfielder and is a long term admirer, having also wanted to sign him when he was at Juventus.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen is the other player. The Danish playmaker has just nine months left on his contract with the north London club and could therefore be signed on a free transfer next Summer, if he does not sign a contract extension by then.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to detail that for the time being Inter manager Antonio Conte will have to try and mould some of the current players.
