Inter have a concrete interest in signing Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze on a free transfer according to a report from Rhur Nachrichten.
Reports in Italy in recent days have suggested the Nerazzurri have been in touch recently with the 27-year-old representatives over a potential move to San Siro next Summer once his deal at Signal Iduna Park is up.
The German news outlet do however go on to report that Dortmund plan on sitting down with Gotze and his representatives in the coming weeks to offer him a new deal. Their proposal will however be one containing reduced terms to what the former Bayern Munich man is currently on.
Gotze has been limited to just two substitute appearances so far this season for a total of 23 minutes but did make 34 appearances across all competitions for der BVB last season in which he contributed seven goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
