Around 30,000 Inter fans have snapped up subscriptions for Inter’s Champions League group stage matches according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
This number is just 10,000 short of Inter’s season ticket sales for the season and is evidence of fans excitement for Inter’s second consecutive participation in European football’s premier continental club competition.
Inter will be in for a real test having been drawn in group F and will face Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Slavia Prague over the course of the group stages. The Nerazzurri will start their Champions League campaign at home to Slavia Prague in 11 days time with kick off set for 18:55 CET.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that pre-sale tickets for the match against the Czech club are selling well, just like the tickets for Inter match with Udinese, which will be their first match back after the international break.
