Diego Godin has taken to social media to give thanks after being included in the 55 man shortlist for the FIFA FIFPro World XI.

The Uruguayan defender simply posted, “thanks” accompanied by some clapping hand emojis as he quote tweeted the tweet wherein his inclusion in the shortlist was confirmed.

The FIFPro World XI will be named later this month at a ceremony in Milan.
