Romelu Lukaku is not focused on the recent racist abuse he was subjected to but rather hitting the 50 goal mark for his native Belgium according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
In Inter’s 2-1 victory over Cagliari at the weekend, a portion of Cagliari supporters behind the goals could clearly be heard making monkey noises at Lukaku as he prepared to take a penalty – which he duly slotted away and won Inter the game with.
The striker, who became Inter’s club record transfer signing over the Summer, said his piece on social media but has now moved on from the incident, the report from the Milan based news outlet claims.
Lukaku is currently sitting on 48 goals in 81 caps for the Belgian national team and will be playing against lowly ranked San Marino today and wants to hit his half-century for the Red Devils.
The 26-year-old has started life in Nerazzurri in fine fashion having scored in each of his first two competitive matches for the club.
