Fromer AC Milan Technical Director Umberto Gandini spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss about Napoli and Inter’s chances of ending Juventus hold on the Serie A title, as well as his opinions about the racism in football discussion following the abuse Romelu Lukaku received during Inter’s victory at Cagliari last week.

“Napoli and Inter have reached Juventus’ level, although the results don’t prove it. The defences must now be fixed as soon as possible, but the Nerazzurri don’t have these problems at the moment.”

Gandini also spoke of the games that Inter and Napoli cannot afford to lose.

“It will be the games against the smaller clubs that the big teams cannot afford to drop points at if they want to compete for the title until the end of the season.”

Finally, the former AC Milan Technical Director offered his opinion about racism in football.

“Regarding the racist chants, there would need to be methods that stigmatise this phenomenon. After find the perpetrators, you must ban them from the stadiums. We must rely on civic education in the stadiums, so that there are better connotations around the football.”
