Scouts representing Inter were present in Romania’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Spain this past week to observe young, promising midfielder Razman Marin, Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports.

According to the report, Marin signed for Ajax in April of this year for €12.5 million after impressing with Belgian side Standard Liège during his three seasons with the club.

However, the report also claims further that the Nerazzurri have long been admirers of the Romanian international midfielder, since his days with Belgian outfit Standard Liege.

The 23-year-old made 104 appearances for Standard Liège across all competitions over his three seasons with the club, scoring 18 goals and providing 22 assists in that time.

He is contracted with the reigning Dutch champions Ajax until the end of June 2024, meaning it will not be cheap if the Nerazzurri are to try and tempt the player given that he only completed his transfer to the Eredivisie side this past summer.
