Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s wonderful form in Brazil continues. The Inter striker, on loan with Flamengo, is continuing to score game after game, most recently scoring a brace in Flamengo’s 3-0 win over Palmeiras.

The 23-year-old forward has now entered the list of the top 12 most prolific players that are still active in the Brazilian league Brazilian media outlet Lance! reports.

The player scored 18 goals last season with Santos and his total so far this year is 14 with Flamengo, placing him 11th place on the list.

He is the youngest player on the list, including players such as Fred, Diego Souza and Ricardo Oliveira. Gabigol has 56 goals in 131 games, an average of one goal every 173 minutes, second only to Fred.
