Inter’s Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku spoke of his impact on Italian football and the strength of the Nerazzurri after their flying start to this season’s Serie A campaign, after his country beat San Marino 4-0 in their visit to the Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle, according to Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Everything is going well; I thank the fans for their welcome. I hope to continue the good work with Inter. At the moment we’re doing well: the team is very strong, even if we need to improve.”

After being asked if the 26-year-old forward was happy with the Nerazzurri’s start to the season, the player responded positively and wisely.

“Yes, we’ve won two games and we’re a good team, but we have to keep improving every day. That’s the only way we can achieve our goals, that’s what we want”

Lukaku has scored in both of Inter’s games this season, helping them to keep a perfect record with 2 wins in 2 games, alongside Juventus and Torino.
