Inter owned Brazilian striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has revitalised his career in Brazil, with two loan spells at Santos and now Flamengo.

The 23-year-old has scored 18 goals in 23 appearances for the club, which has attracted interest from European clubs, according to Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

According to the report, multiple high-profile clubs are interested in the young Brazilian, including Sevilla, Nice and Bordeaux, all of whom have registered interest in the striker. Gabigol’s loan spell with Flamengo expires on December 19th of this year and he will return to Inter.

The Nerazzurri are very happy with his performances and are hoping to receive €20 million for the striker. Flamengo are keen to retain the striker but if Gabigol desires a return to Europe then Inter will have a wealth of clubs to choose from.

The Brazilian striker is contracted with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2022 and the club are in no rush to sell the 23-year-old, waiting for the right offer to arrive.
