New Inter forward Alexis Sanchez may make his debut for the Nerazzurri against Udinese next week, after impressing the club with his physical condition upon arrival in Milan, Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri have given Sanchez a specific training regime, to help the player reach an adequate level of fitness as soon as possible.

Sanchez’s condition upon arrival is one of the reasons he was brought to the Nerazzurri’s visit to Cagliari last week, a stark contrast to Romelu Lukaku, who arrived in poor fitness and was subject to a diet imposed by Conte.

This gives the Chilean forward a strong possibility of starting against his former club Udinese, as fellow Inter forward Lautaro Martinez will still be with his national team to play in the friendly against Mexico on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old Chilean striker played the full 90 minutes of the friendly match between Chile and Argentina last night which ended goalless.

The former Manchester United player is set to arrive at Inter’s training ground at Appiano Gentile on Monday.
