Roberto Mancini’s Italy team play against Finland tonight in a Euro 2020 qualifying match and the inclusion of Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has excited Rome based newspaper La Repubblica, with their headline being “In Finland with Sensi as the new Italian leader.”

The 24-year-old Inter player will be played ahead of PSG star Marco Verratti as Mancini looks to continue Italy’s winning streak in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, with the Azzurri top of Group J with five wins in five games.

Sensi made his Italy debut under Mancini in November last year in a friendly match against the United States and already has one goal in three appearances for the Azzurri and will be hoping his form with Inter transitions to the National team as well.

The former Sassuolo player is already off to a flying start with the Nerazzurri, scoring one goal and providing two assists in only 163 minutes for the club, showing that coach Antonio Conte’s faith in the 24-year-old was justified.
