Inter’s new third shirt is set to be unveiled next week on Tuesday in Milan, but the pictures online are real, according to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The third shirt, inspired by the world of motor-sports, will make its debut in Inter’s Champions League opening game against Slavia Prague on September 17th.

With many rumours circulating the internet and stolen photos, the report claims that the yellow and black shirt is legitimate and is based on the classic third shirt worn by Ronaldo and his team in the UEFA Cup in 1997/98.

Nike chose the pattern reminiscent of motor-sports due to the work that sponsor Pirelli is known for. The company is well known for the production of their tyres, with the Milan based organisation being the fifth largest tyre producer in the world.

They have sponsored the Nerazzurri since 1995, becoming almost as iconic as the black and blue stripes worn by the club.
