Two Inter players started for Italy last night in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Finland, with Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella together in midfield after Marco Verratti’s suspension in the Azzurri’s previous game.
The official Inter Twitter gave their best wishes to the duo, saying: “Stefano Sensi and Barella both start for Italy against Finland tonight, come on lads!”
Coach Roberto Mancini has guided the Azzurri to the top of Group J in the qualifications for next summer’s European Championship, an important step after the disappointing absence at last summer’s World Cup.
