Nenad Bjelica, the current manager of Dinamo Zagreb, is of the belief that Inter midfielder and compatriot Marcelo Brozovic is among the three best midfielders on the planet.

The Croatian international has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the past year or so since a role change to become a regista and he is one of Inter’s most consistent performers and important players.

“Marcelo Brozovic is one of the three best midfielders in the world,” Bjelica said as he appeared as a commentator on Croatian broadcaster Novoj TV’s coverage of Croatia’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Azerbaijan.

The 26-year-old has been with Inter since January 2015 and he has went on to make 156 appearances across all competitions for the team since in which he has scored 21 goals and contributed 19 assists.

Brozovic has started in each of Inter’s first two matches of the season and was the scorer of Inter’s first goal of the campaign.
