Roberto Gagliardini could make his first start of the season for Inter in this weekend’s match at home to Udinese according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte has greatly appreciated the effort that Gagliardini has put in in training over the course of the soon to be ending international break and wishes to reward him for this.

Conte is a big fan of Gagliardini’s and made sure that he was not sold during the transfer window despite the fact that the former Atalanta man is definitely not the first choice option in the midfield.

Conte is also keen to see Gagliardini add more goals to his game as he wants his midfielders to be contributing goals throughout the season.

Last season the 22-year-old midfielder, who has made one substitute appearance for the club this season, netted five goals – four of which came against Genoa – in 21 appearances across all competitions.
