Legendary Italian footballer and manager Fabio Capello has shared his views on the Italian sides competing in this year’s edition of the Champions League.

“Juventus should have no problems in progressing to the next round. Inter are the Italian side who got the worst draw but Antonio Conte is someone who can make a difference,” he said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“As for Napoli, I think this time the mockery of an elimination in the group stage is averted. They are stronger than they were a year ago. The debuting Atalanta can meanwhile fight for second place in their group with Shakhtar Donetsk.”

European football’s premier club competition kicks-off this coming week.

Inter and Napoli are both in action on Tuesday night with both sides starting their campaign’s at home to Slavia Prague and Liverpool respectively.

Juventus and Atalanta play on Wednesday. Juventus are away to Atletico Madrid whilst Atalanta are away to Dinamo Zagreb.
