Legendary Italian goalkeeper Dino Zoff says Inter and Napoli ‘have a duty’ to be trying their best to challenge Juventus for the Serie A title this season.

The Bianconeri, who Zoff spent 11 years with as a player and two as manager, have reigned supreme over Serie A for almost a decade now more often than not with very little in the way of competition meaning they have ran away with the title on several occasions.

“Inter and Napoli have a duty to create problems for Juventus this season,” he insisted in an interview with Radio Nuovo Punto.

Zoff, who was part of Italy’s 1968 European Championship and 1982 World Cup winning sides, then shared his views on the current state of the Italian national team.

“There are many interesting players in the squad both young ones and more experienced ones. The coach will decide who plays but we are in good hands.”
