Corriere dello Sport have likened Nicolo Barella’s slow integration at Inter under Antonio Conte to those of Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba when Conte was in charge at Juventus.

Barella has yet to start a competitive match for Inter since his arrival at the club over the Summer and he has had to settle for two substitute appearances.

“Despite the large investment made to purchase him, Conte chose to adopt the same formula used during his time at Juventus with Vidal and Pogba.

“He knew the value of the Chilean and the then young Frenchman, who took time to fully enter into his side. When succeeded, they became indispensable players for Old Lady. Perhaps the same will happen at Inter with the former Cagliari player.”

According to some reports doing the rounds in the media, the Italian international could well be granted his first start in a Nerazzurri shirt in tomorrow’s match against Udinese.
