Respected journalist Mario Sconcerti has praised Inter striker Romelu Lukaku for his appeal both on and off of the football field.

“I like Lukaku, he is someone who is well aware. He knows what he wants and there is more to him than just goals and his big salary. He can do a lot for Inter,” Sconcerti explained in an interview with CalcioMercato.com.

“Lukaku has a vivaciousness as a leader, a defusing and conscious appeal. He is a sincere, which is something almost unknown in footballers. You just have to look at Emre Can as a recent example. He says one thing and then hours later denies it. Lukaku can help us all to change a little.”

The Belgian forward, who joined over the Summer in a €65 million deal from Manchester United, has got life in Nerazzurri off to the perfect start by scoring in each of his two appearances for the club so far.
