Inter coach Antonio Conte is already proving his reputation as an ‘enhancer’ as accurate, according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 50-year-old Italian coach has placed his faith in players that Inter fans have considered unimpressive for the Nerazzurri and already have started to give them confidence in an Inter shirt.

One of these players is Antonio Candreva. The 32-year-old Italian midfielder has already featured heavily in Inter’s opening two games, including scoring a wonderful goal against Lecce in the Nerazzurri’s opening victory against Lecce.

Despite only playing around 1000 minutes last season for Inter, Conte has already shown Candreva to be perfectly capable in his midfield and his work on the training ground is already paying off.

Another player in a similar position is Andrea Ranocchia, with the 31-year-old defender proving that he is a solid back up to Stefan de Vrij, despite only playing 266 minutes in all competitions last season for the Nerazzurri. Conte’s trust in the player has already payed off in both of Inter’s games so far this season, with Ranocchia fitting his system comfortably.
