Italian sports journalist Fabio Ravezzani spoke after Inter’s victory over Udinese last night to Italian media outlet TeleLombardia.

“To say that Inter can aim for the Scudetto this year is right, obvious and a clear goal, despite Juve being objectively stronger. To claim that this consideration is just a way to attack Inter is stupid or cowardly.”

Inter topped the table last night after their 1-0 victory against Udinese with three wins in three games, a perfect start. Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus dropped points for the first time this season against Fiorentina in a goalless draw that saw the Bianconeri lose three players to injury, Douglas Costa, Miralem Pjanic and new arrival Danilo.

Coach Antonio Conte overhauled the squad since arriving earlier this year, removing players no longer considered relevant to the club’s objectives, including Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic, and bringing in star players to help the Nerazzurri fight Juventus for the league title.
