Former Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin spoke positively of Inter to Italian media outlet DAZN following their 1-0 victory over his former side last night.

“Udinese left the pitch at San Siro with honor. Inter are first in the standings, they can build an important project. Sensi scored a goal like a real striker. Lautaro Martinez seems to particularly like being there, in front, to play as the primary point of attack”.

Guidolin also spoke of Inter forward Antonio Candreva, who he coached briefly at Udinese.

“I coached him for a while in Udine. He was a very introverted man. In this period, he seems revitalized”.

Inter’s victory over Udinese yesterday seems them top the league table after a perfect start to the league, with three wins in three games, whereas rivals Juventus disappointed in Florence yesterday, only managing a 0-0 against la Viola and losing three key players to injury, Miralem Pjanic, Douglas Costa and Danilo.
