The officials for Inter’s opening group stage match of the Champions League against Slavia Prague have been officially announced today.

The game will be officiated by French referee Ruddy Buquet, assisted by Guillaume Debart and Julien Pacelli. The fourth official is Amaury Delerue, while in the VAR room there is François Letexier and Benoit Millot.

42-year-old French referee Buquet has already given 26 yellow cards and 3 red cards this season, in the 6 games that he has officiated in Ligue 1, the Champions League qualifying rounds and the Europa League qualifying rounds.

Inter Coach Antonio Conte will be reminding his players to stay disciplined to avoid any unnecessary bookings as Inter look to qualify for the Champions League knockout rounds in what many are calling the ‘group of death’.

Inter will have to play Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Slavia Prague in their group, with victory against the Czech club next week crucial if they are to improve on last season’s Champions League performance.
