AC Milan Defender Musacchio: “Inter Are Strong But We Know We Can Beat Them”

Mateo Musacchio is convinced that he and his AC Milan teammates have what it takes to succeed in this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

“It will be a special week, we want to play this game. They have a strong team but we will only think about winning, we know we can do it,” the Argentine defender insisted in an interview with AC Milan’s in-house channel Milan TV following their narrow 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona.

Inter head into the Milan derby at the top of the Serie A table having won each of their three games in the league to date whilst Milan are down in seventh, having won twice and lost once.

Antonio Conte’s high-flying Nerazzurri will surely be buoyed on by the fact they won both derbies last season whilst Marco Giampaolo’s Rossoneri will be keen to ensure the bragging rights do not remain with their city rivals.
