Inter and AC Milan have until September 24 to iron out as many details as possible for their joint presentation to the Milan city council about their proposed new stadium according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.

There were initially four plans for the new ground, which will take the place of San Siro, but now just two plans are still in the running.

The first plan belongs to American architecture group Populous, who were behind Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium among others.

Their plans, according to the report, would see the stadium have a chameleon like shell on the outside of the stadium which would be able to light up at night and change colour depending on whether it is Inter or AC Milan at home.

The other plan belongs to David Manica and Cmr, who are behind Cagliari’s proposed new stadium.

Another important week awaits for the two Milanese clubs who will soon decide on the look of their new home.
