Samir Handnaovic knows that he and his Inter teammates will be in for a difficult ride tomorrow night when they play host to Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
“We have to be prepared for this tough opponent, who did well last year in the Champions League. It will be difficult and the group we are part of is stimulating for both us and our opponents,” he told Inter TV.
“Having started well in the league, it is very important for the good work we have been doing to carry on. Tomorrow I expect Slavia to come and try play their own game. They know what they want and we hope it is a good match on our part.”
Inter have a packed schedule in the coming weeks but the Slovenian was quick to ensure the team will not think too far ahead.
“Now we will play every three days, we must think only of football. It will be very important to think one game at a time.”
