Marcello Lippi has praised Inter manager Antonio Conte for the way in which he has carried one of his best attributes as a player into his management.
“Conte is a driving force as a manager, just like he was as a player on the pitch. Conte perceives the team as a group in which there is unity of purpose and a desire to make oneself available to one another and if the players are at a high level you will become a great team,” Lippi, who managed Conte at Juventus, explained in an interview with Radio anch’io lo sport.
The former Italian national team manager then spoke on who he thinks is currently the team best placed to take down Juventus.
“I would say it is 50-50 between Inter and Napoli at the moment to be the Anti-Juve. Juventus will definitely need to be at their best until the end of the season.”
