Inter’s Italian wingback Antonio Candreva told InterTV that he believes the Nerazzurri have to win tonight their Champions League opener against Slavia Prague at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

“These matches allow you to work in the best way possible. Today our difficult run of matches begin, we are ready for the match today. We have to win, we are playing in front of our own fans.”

“It is always very important where the matches are played, especially in the Champions League were you don’t play many matches, that you cannot afford to mess up.”

“We know that Slavia Prague has being doing well for years in their domestic league, in this tournament there are no easy opponents. We have to be humble and look to bring our own qualities.”

Candreva has been instrumental so far this season for the Nerazzurri starting every single one of Inter’s previous three matches, which including tonight’s clash will make it his fourth consecutive start.
