Chinese real estate giants Evergrande could become Inter’s main shirt sponsors in the coming years, at least according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter and Suning owner Jindong Zhang arrived in Milan yesterday alongside Evergrande founder and owner Xu Jiayin and as per the Milan based news outlet, the two have already held exploratory talks over potential sponsorship deals in the future.

Evergrande could replace long-term shirt sponsors Pirelli in the future but will not replace them prior to 2021, which is the year that Inter and Pirelli’s deal is due to expire.

The Evergrande group are no strangers to football with them being the current owners of Chinese Super League powerhouses Guangzhou Evergrande.

Since purchasing the club back in 2010, Guangzhou Evergrande, who are currently managed by former Inter defender Fabio Cannavaro, have went on to win no less than 16 trophies, including seven league titles and two Asian Champions Leagues.
