Legendary Inter defender Andreas Brehme has shared his views on the new look Inter side constructed over the Summer transfer window.
“Inter is a great team this year and has a great coach. I believe we will see a very entertaining Inter side. I remember playing against Antonio Conte as a player, he has a great CV and has great personality.
“I think it’s difficult to compare Conte to either Giovanni Trappatoni and Jose Mourinho. Trap is a great friend of mine and a super star for me whilst wherever Mourinho goes success always follows. I am sure that Conte will show his true value in the coming months.”
He then reflected on Inter’s 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague.
“I was very disappointed last night, fortunately we scored a goal. Unfortunately we have wasted two precious points in a home match ”.
Brehme then spoke on Inter club record signing Romelu Lukaku
“I’m sure he will be a success. He is a great player and an important signing for Inter.”
Next he spoke on Mauro Icardi’s exit.
“I prefer not to say too much since I was not in the dressing room. In the end, he left and life goes on.”
