Flamengo are making the permanent signing of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa from Inter an immediate priority according to a report from Lance!

The Mengao are very keen to acquire the 23-year-old striker on a permanent basis, with him having absolutely starred and scored for fun since his arrival on loan back in January.

Negotiations to sign him permanently began back in July when Mengao officials were in Italy meeting with the representatives of Mario Balotelli – who declined them in favour of joining Serie A outfit Brescia.

As per reports doing the rounds in the media, Inter are seemingly demanding a sum of at least €18 million to deal Gabigol away having spent €30 million to sign him ahead of strong competition from other clubs back in 2016.

Further negotiations are expected to take place between Inter and Flamengo in the coming weeks prior to the expiration of his loan deal with the Rio de Janeiro club in December.
