Contrary to other reports doing the rounds in the media, Sport Mediaset report that the dispute between Marcelo Brozovic and Romelu Lukaku took place at half time and not at full time of Tuesday night’s match against Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
At the half time interval, with the game at 0-0, Lukaku addressed the team and called for them to show some more courage when attacking. Brozovic is understood to have taken offence to this and things reportedly got heated between the two of them.
The report from the broadcaster goes on to detail that Inter manager Antonio Conte then told the players that he welcomed the fact they were having discussion but so long as it was orientated toward winning the match.
Inter would find themselves behind just over 15 minutes after the restart but substitute Nicolo Barella spared the team from defeat with a volley in injury time and secure the Nerazzurri a 1-1 draw.
