Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic had a heated exchange with one another following Inter’s 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague on Tuesday night according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Following the match, the Belgian striker addressed the squad and apologised for not being able to contribute in the match what he was signed to do and he asked for a more attacking approach in the future in a bid to try and help him out.

Whilst almost every player took this on board, Marcelo Brozovic took offence, seemingly seeing Lukaku’s comments as a personal attack and tried to square up to him and had to be pulled back by other Inter players.

Lukaku has failed to score in each of Inter’s last two games having scored in each of his first two appearances for the club but his downturn in form can perhaps be attributed to the fact he is still struggling with the back injury he sustained in the warm-up against Udinese and because he is still yet to reach peak physical condition.

The report goes on to state that Antonio Conte is not worried about his Summer acquisition and knows that he is only going to get better the more he plays.
