Antonio Candreva trained with the rest of the team earlier tonight ahead of tomorrow’s first Derby della Madonnina of the season according to a report from Sky Sport.

The Italian, who has undergone a real transformation since Antonio Conte took charge of the club in the Summer, sustained bruising to his back in Inter’s 1-0 win over Udinese at the weekend and was forced off the field and missed Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against Slavia Prague in the opening round of the Champions League.

Although training regularly, Conte could still decide not to risk him and has his replacement already limed-up in the shape of Danilo D’Ambrosio.

D’Ambrosio, who has primarily played as a centre back this season, will slot in at right wing back should Candreva not be in the right condition which will also allow for Diego Godin to come back into the starting XI as he will take D’Ambrosio’s place.
