Antonio Conte will make several changes to the line-up that started in Inter’s disappointing 1-1 draw in the Champions League against Slavia Prague for this weekend’s first Derby della Madonnina of the season according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The first change will be the formation. Conte will swap his trusty 3-5-2 in favour of deploying his side in a 3-4-2-1 system.

In defence, Diego Godin will come back in having been dropped to the bench for Tuesday night’s match and he will replace Danilo D’Ambrosio and play alongside Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar.

In the four-man midfield, Matias Vecino will come in for Roberto Gagliardini. Vecino will partner Marcelo Brozovic whilst Stefano Sensi will be playing in behind Romelu Lukaku. Matteo Politano, who impressed off the bench against Slavia Prague, will partner Sensi.

Predicted Inter Starting XI (3-4-2-1): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matteo Politano, Stefano Sensi; Romelu Lukaku.
