Inter coach Antonio Conte appreciates the approach of former Inter coach Jose Mourinho, according to Rome based newspaper il Corriere dello Sport, with the Italian coach highlighting the Nerazzurri’s disappointing performance against Slavia Prague in the Champions League ahead of tonight’s derby against AC Milan.

In a press conference on the eve of today’s Milanese derby, Conte spoke about Inter’s poor training habits, hoping to motivate the Nerazzurri squad for tonight’s game.

“Trapattoni is right, training Inter is not easy. Other clubs are better at protecting themselves, at managing. We need to improve a lot on this, we have a lot of room for growth, both on and off the pitch. It’s unacceptable that I should be told ‘that’s what happened in the past’. This speech only creates alibis, we must eradicate bad habits.”

The report details how Conte is using a similar tactic to Mourinho, by creating some controversy ahead of an important game in order to stimulate a reaction in his players.
