Tonight’s derby between Inter and AC Milan could be one of the last in the San Siro, according to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, who writes that the two clubs have started to walk on the road towards the construction of a new stadium.

The two teams have started working with multiple firms in order to maximise revenue in the new stadium, with the new structure guaranteeing a higher income. First, in addition to working with Goldman Sachs for the financial parts, the Milanese clubs have also placed New York based group Legends in an advisory role related to the field of merchandising, food and drink distribution, ticketing services and the sale of sponsorship rights.

Both Inter and AC Milan are looking to maximise the commercial revenue of the new stadium, in part so they can compete more consistently with domestic giants Juventus.

The third advisor entrusted by the clubs is Yard, a real estate company that is dealing with the development aspect of the project.
