Inter coach Antonio Conte spoke to Chinese media outlet Suning PPSports TV following the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 victory over AC Milan last night in the Milanese derby.
“I think it was a great performance on our part, from all points of view: tactical, intense and physical. We had a good game right away and I’m happy with the guys. I don’t like talking about individuals because I think we all win together.”
“And even when you don’t win, you do it all together. Everyone played a game over the top, something that didn’t happen on Tuesday against Slavia. Now you have to keep working, keep your head down and keep working.”
The 50-year-old Italian coach then spoke about the fight for the league title.
“No, it’s only been four games. Let’s not forget that two years ago Inter were at the top of the league table in December and then qualified for the Champions League in the last game, winning against Lazio.”
“It’s a testament to the fact that the championship is long, and we have to look at it from day to day and see what the future will say, what the ambitions will be. I repeat: it’s a group of boys who are starting to play with the ambition to be a protagonist and to win something.”
Finally, Conte spoke to Chinese Inter fans who were watching.
“Forza Inter!”
