Inter full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke to Italian media outlet DAZN after the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 victory over AC Milan last night in the Milanese derby.

“We always do our best in every game. We prepared for this derby well and we wanted to make a positive change after the draw in the Champions League.”

The 31-year-old Italian then spoke of coach Antonio Conte.

“He was happy in the end because we put into practice what he asks of us, that is, never to give up and to make us feel in contrasts. Three points he deserves and he’s rightly happy. Is my strength that I am flexible? I always try to give my all, I don’t ask myself if I play or not. I try to be an important value for my team-mates and coaches.”

Inter are currently top of the table with 12 points after a perfect start to the league, winning their first four games.
