Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has returned to the Brazilian national team following his incredible form with Flamengo this season, writes Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, with the Nerazzurri paying more attention to the 23-year-old forward.

A year ago, Inter were simply thinking of where to send the player on loan, but now with two incredible seasons in Brazil, the Nerazzurri owned striker is the focus on interest from other European clubs.

Flamengo management visited Inter this summer to discuss a permanent transfer of the player, hoping for a figure around €18 million.

However, since the continuation of his incredible form, the Nerazzurri are looking to sell Gabigol for a much higher price, estimated at around €30 million,

If the player wants to return to Brazil, a deal could just be around the corner, unless coach Antonio Conte was to see if the striker is able to fit in his project in January.
