Gazzetta dello Sport believe there are five reasons why Inter manager Antonio Conte can feel confident about taking on Inter’s arch rivals Juventus in the Serie A title race this season.

The first reason is Conte himself, who, according to many, is the most important part of this new Inter side that was constructed over the Summer.

The second reason is Romelu Lukaku. Conte wanted the Belgian signed at all costs due to deeming him the perfect player for his tactical plans for the club and Lukaku has certainly started well scoring three goals in his first four Serie A appearances.

Inter’s water-tight defence is the third reason. The Nerazzurri have conceded just once in their first four Serie A games this season. The Godin-de Vrij-Skriniar or GDS for short defensive partnership can be a winning partnership.

Inter’s midfield is then the fourth reason, the Milan based news outlet state. Stefano Sensi has not put a foot wrong since coming in, Marcelo Brozovic looked back to his best in the derby and Nicolo Barella has all that Conte wants in a midfielder.

The final reason is that Conte still has another ace up his sleeve. That ace is Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has been limited to just one substitute appearance since his arrival but could be granted his first start in Inter’s next match against Lazio.
