Inter and AC Milan will officially unveil plans for their proposed new stadium to the Milan city council this coming Thursday, September 23, according to a report from news agency ANSA.

The presentation was due to take place tomorrow but had to be pushed back although it is as yet unclear why it had to be delayed.

The two Milanese sides, who are looking to build a new state-of-the-art ground to replace the historic, yet ageing, San Siro, will present two plans to the city council.

One plan belongs to American architecture firm Populous, who were behind Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur’s brand new stadium.

The other plan is a joint effort from architect Davide Manica and architecture group Cmr. The Manica-Cmr collaboration have been tasked with designing Cagliari’s new ground.

It now remains to be seen when the plans will be formally presented to the public although in recent days more and more images of the plans have begin to surface in the media.
