Kwadwo Asamoah is keen for him and his Inter teammates to improve still despite the fact the Nerazzurri have made a perfect start to their Serie A campaign.

“We’re working a lot and doing so in the right way, it’s important for us to go out and give our all in every game. It’s not easy to get four straight league wins, it stems from the work we’ve been doing since the very start of pre-season and we’ll keep it up to improve further,” he said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s important for players when you win, it gives you energy and desire. This is a strong group that is improving. We’ve started well, we’re on the right road and we need to keep doing what we’ve been doing.”

The Ghanaian then spoke on Inter manager Antonio Conte.

“He always wants the best from his players, it shows with what we’re doing on the pitch and in training. You need to be ready physically and mentally and he is a big help for his players because they can always do better.”

Next he discussed the recurring issue of racism in Italian football stadiums.

“It’s certainly unpleasant and irritating, for many years you’ve heard the same things and these mistakes are repeated time and time again. Inter are doing a lot in this regard to prevent these things from happening again and to also improve Italian football in this regard.”

He also spoke on new teammate Romelu Lukaku, who arrived from Manchester United in the Summer.

“Lukaku is a fantastic player, he’s doing a lot for the team in attack and defence. He surprised me because some players struggle at the start when they come to Italy but he’s understood the style of football straight away. I think he can improve further and do even better.”

He concluded by discussing the Nerazzurri’s goals for the season.

“I think we can still get better, there are lots of games left in which we can give even more. At the moment, we’re think about each game as it comes and we want to get positive results in every match in order to go as far as we can.”
