Antonio Conte was decisive in Inter making an instant recovery in Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina victory after the disappointing draw with Slavia Prague a few days earlier according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Inter slumped to a surprising 1-1 draw at home to the Czech outfit and Conte was far from happy with this. He stayed at Inter’s training ground following the game to prepare everything for Wednesday afternoon where he took the team through every single mistake made.
He stressed how disappointed he was at the poor performance and multiple missed chances to actually win the match and went about trying to raise the confidence of the team and stimulate them.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Conte revealed his master plan for the Milan derby – which Inter won 2-0 with relative ease with thanks to goals from Marcelo Brozovic and Romelu Lukaku – on Wednesday too.
