Legendary Italian footballer Paolo Rossi has been impressed by how Inter have got on at this early stage of the 2019/20 season.

“So far everything has went well for them and it seems to me that they are a team with a mentality of their own,” he said in an interview with Radio Anch’io Lo Sport.

“Perhaps this will not be enough to entirely fill the gap with Juventus but today Inter has certainly improved a lot. They made a lot of important purchases in the transfer window and brought in a new coach.

“Inter have extraordinary determination and are a competitive side. In a few weeks time, from the 10th round onward, the true value of every team will be on show.”

Rossi also shared his views on the future of San Siro.

“San Siro is life for those who have played in it, but modernity is looming. If Milan and Inter decide to make a new stadium, so be it. We have too few stadiums owned by clubs.”
